Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year or more experience in a food service role
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more experience in a food service role
- prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
- ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred
- experience with safety procedures typical in a cafeteria or food service environment
Job Duties
- Verify accurate counts of products and supplies
- maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items
- load and unload trucks as necessary
- may be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed
- stocks and organizes the warehouse
- follows sanitation and safety guidelines
- supervise and direct inmate labor
- order paper, cleaning, tools, and food products based on menus
- ensure delivery vehicles are inspected
- oversee and manage drivers duties
- conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas
- conduct inmate and staff training
- tool control
- schedule preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment
- support all deliveries to kitchens and orders
- reconcile weekly usage report
- other duties as determined by the needs of the business
