Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • 1 year or more experience in a food service role
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment

  • ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred

Job Duties

  • Verify accurate counts of products and supplies
  • maintain proper rotation of ingredients and refrigerated/frozen food items
  • load and unload trucks as necessary
  • may be assigned other tasks associated with the warehouse operation and/or kitchen as needed
  • stocks and organizes the warehouse
  • follows sanitation and safety guidelines
  • supervise and direct inmate labor
  • order paper, cleaning, tools, and food products based on menus
  • ensure delivery vehicles are inspected
  • oversee and manage drivers duties
  • conduct daily and weekly inspections of areas
  • conduct inmate and staff training
  • tool control
  • schedule preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment
  • support all deliveries to kitchens and orders
  • reconcile weekly usage report
  • other duties as determined by the needs of the business
