The company is deeply committed to safety, innovation, and operational excellence, adopting the latest technology to drive cost savings and visibility for its clients. With its robust infrastructure and talented workforce, Penske Logistics serves market-leading companies, supporting their growth and competitive advantage in a dynamic business landscape.

This role is an excellent opportunity to join Penske Logistics as a Warehouse Associate in a new operation located in Laredo, Texas. The base pay rate is $21.63 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to fairly compensating its associates. New hire orientation is projected to occur in August, marking the beginning of your journey with this reputable logistics provider.

Warehouse Associates at Penske Logistics are essential to the company's success, tasked with a variety of responsibilities to support seamless operations. Associates are expected to accurately match numbers and letters, stage and sort products for loading, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure quality control by identifying and removing damaged products. They also electronically scan items using a warehouse management system and communicate effectively with teammates across shifts to meet operational goals.

Additionally, associates are supported by a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401K plan and an associate referral program. A unique $125 boot allowance after 90 days of employment further underscores the company's investment in the safety and comfort of its warehouse team. The role demands physical stamina, with associates required to handle weights up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Associates work in non-climate-controlled conditions and must maintain a constant state of alertness to uphold safety standards.

This position offers a path to professional growth within Penske Logistics, a company known for valuing its workforce and promoting from within. Ideal candidates should be able to read and follow directions proficiently, be flexible with scheduling, and thrive in an environment that values organization, multi-tasking, customer service, and teamwork. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are preferred but not mandatory, enhancing communication in the diverse Texas workforce.
