The role being offered is for an Overnight Bakery Feeder position, scheduled from Sunday to Wednesday, 2 AM to 12:30 PM, with a competitive wage of $21.64 per hour. This position is ideal for individuals who are safety conscious, physically capable, and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude. The Overnight Bakery Feeder will primarily work in a temperature-controlled, fast-paced warehouse environment with temperatures between 34 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit. The role involves being on one’s feet and moving for the entire shift while performing duties that require bending, reaching, pushing, and walking. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading bakery carts, staging them by wave, route, and stop, and emptying and cleaning bakery carts. Physical strength is important as the position requires lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing or pulling 50 pounds or more on wheels. All work must comply with Penske’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies. Additional duties include product stamping and coding, trailer loading and offloading without powered industrial trucks (PIT), and general warehouse cleanup.
