Job Qualifications
- less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization in English
- ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form
- ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- to perform this job successfully an individual should be able to navigate a smart phone or tablet for various web based applications and regular use of Microsoft Office suite Windows Word Outlook and Excel Google and Explorer internet browsers for web based software systems
- qualified candidates will be EPA certified
- all warehouse workers must hold a current driver license
Job Duties
- reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed
- conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- sorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code
- fills requisitions work orders or requests for materials tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
- drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
- drive forklift to convey materials over distances on company property
- clears trucks of garbage or discarded materials
- loads trailers and trucks to prepare for scheduled jobs
