Job Description
Our company is a leading provider of secure cash management and courier services, dedicated to facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of funds and valuables. We prioritize security, accuracy, and impeccable client service, supporting businesses across various sectors with reliable and timely financial logistics solutions. As a well-established firm, we pride ourselves on maintaining a strong reputation for professionalism and operational excellence within the cash logistics industry. We offer full-time employment opportunities with a structured Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring stability and work-life balance for our employees. The starting pay is competitive at $17 per hour, with additional overtime available as needed to meet operational demands.
The Vault Attendant role is a critical position within our operations team, responsible for managing the distribution and receipt of essential materials such as moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys, and schedules to Driver/Messengers and Crew Leaders. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, as Vault Attendants ensure that all monetary and data-related items are accurately handled and accounted for during each shift. The position operates on a second/evening shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am, which caters to the specific timing requirements of cash transit operations.
Vault Attendants perform vital functions including checking in and out routes, managing the custody of assets, and overseeing paperwork and equipment such as handheld scanners and data entry devices. They play an indispensable part in maintaining security protocols by verifying bulk money receipts coming from the vault, various departments, and external sources. Vault Attendants also assist in tracking, resolving, and reporting any missing or misrouted items, which ensures transparency and accountability within the cash handling process.
In addition to the primary responsibilities of managing and distributing route-related assets, Vault Attendants may be called upon to perform additional duties similar to those of Driver/Messengers and Crew Leaders, based on the operational needs of the company. This flexibility requires a readiness to adapt and contribute efficiently in a team-oriented environment, especially during peak periods or unforeseen circumstances.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold all necessary driver licenses with a clean driving record. They must also obtain and maintain all required guard and gun permits as mandated by their state, reflecting the security-sensitive nature of the work. Strong communication skills are essential; Vault Attendants must effectively exchange information both verbally and in writing, including the use of radios, to coordinate smoothly with team members and supervisors.
This role offers a robust benefits package for full-time employees, including 401K retirement plans, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), employee discounts, and participation in reward programs, underscoring our commitment to supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of our staff. Our comprehensive training and support ensure Vault Attendants are fully equipped to excel in their responsibilities and uphold the company’s high standards for safety and service quality.
