As a Utility at C&S Wholesale Services, you will have the unique opportunity to serve in a versatile warehouse role where you will be cross-trained and expected to perform duties in multiple positions, including Warehouse Clerk, Forklift Operator, Selector, Backhauler, and Porter. This role requires adaptability and a strong work ethic to fulfill varying daily operational needs within their Miami, Florida warehouse, located at 3300 NW 123rd Street. The position is designed for the 2nd shift, starting at 10 PM and extending until completion, with a competitive pay rate of $21 per hour. It offers a challenging and dynamic warehouse environment that includes working in freezer conditions as low as -20F to grocery warehouse temperatures up to 90F, accommodating the storage needs of diverse products ranging from frozen foods to perishables and dry goods.

The Utility role involves performing high-level operational tasks that are essential for smooth warehouse management and fulfillment processes. Responsibilities include operating stand-up forklifts to move pallets up to heights of 46 feet, manually handling and stocking items, utilizing radio frequency computer terminals to record activities, and ensuring shipment selection and preparation for dispatch. The position demands physical stamina and the ability to carry out repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering tasks safely, often involving heavy materials handling equipment (MHE).
