UniFirst is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Loader/Unloader to become a vital part of its Branch Warehouse team. This role is crucial in supporting the timely movement of incoming and outgoing garments and products, ensuring the efficient flow of clean and soiled items throughout the supply chain. The position offers a five-day workweek with weekends off, helping employees achieve a balanced lifestyle.
In this role, the Warehouse Loader/Unloader will be responsible for a variety of tasks including unloading clean products from plant transport shuttles, sorting and staging garments and facility service items, preparing outbound products by auditing carts and verifying load accuracy, processing soiled and return products, managing inventory and stock, and maintaining warehouse organization and safety standards. The job is hands-on and requires physical effort, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds. Employees will receive on-the-job training with continuous cross-training opportunities, helping team members enhance their skills and explore different production areas. - Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs

Job Duties
- Unload clean product from plant transport shuttle
- Sort and stage clean garments and facility service items by route and delivery day
- Piece in garments or stockroom items not sorted at the plant
- Audit flag good carts and verify accuracy against load sheets
- Identify and communicate route shortages to management
- Load route trucks with garments and facility service items
- Unload and sort mixed soiled garments by material type
- Load soiled products onto outbound shuttle
- Organize and load reductions and special handling items onto outbound shuttle
- Receive, label, and store incoming vendor deliveries
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Adhere to safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
