Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a leading hospitality provider specializing in food, beverage, and retail services at prominent venues. One of its notable operations is at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, an iconic 20,000-seat sports and entertainment venue that opened in 2017. The arena is home to the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons, providing an exciting environment for sports fans and event attendees. Delaware North’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences is reflected in its diverse offerings, including concessions, premium dining services, innovative club areas, loge boxes, and suites. With over a century of family-owned business history, Delaware North has a global footprint, operating not only in sports arenas but also in hotels, casinos, national parks, and more, which underlines the diversity and scale of its business. This broad presence offers employees unique growth and career development opportunities across various hospitality sectors.

The company is currently seeking a seasonal Warehouse Supervisor to join its team at Little Caesars Arena. This position plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the commissary and warehouse departments. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing team members, managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverage products, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This role requires someone highly organized and adept at supervising food service operations in a fast-paced, high-volume sports venue environment. The supervisor will guide and coach staff, assign duties, and ensure warehouse standards are met through established procedures. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth supply chain that supports Delaware North’s operation in a busy arena setting.

The position offers an hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.00 and includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support team members’ personal and professional well-being. Benefits include weekly pay, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. Eligible employees may also receive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, an employee assistance program, as well as tuition or professional certification reimbursement.

Working as a Warehouse Supervisor with Delaware North means joining a well-established company that values its people and fosters an inclusive culture. The role demands physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, bending, and working in varying temperature conditions typical of warehouse environments. Shift schedules may include evenings, weekends, events, and day shifts, requiring a flexible and dependable team member. Delaware North is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusive hiring practices.

Overall, this role presents an exciting opportunity for those with food and beverage commissary experience who are motivated to lead a team in a dynamic, sports-venue atmosphere. It is an excellent chance to be part of a global legacy in hospitality and contribute to creating great experiences for guests at one of Detroit’s most iconic arenas.
