Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations with supervisory responsibility
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
  • Experience working in a unionized setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am Wednesday through Saturday
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations including team supervision
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse workforce in a 24/7 operation
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong supervisory and motivational skills in a team-based environment
  • Ability to interpret warehouse operational issues and develop appropriate solutions
  • Effective communication skills and commitment to high levels of quality and customer service
  • Adherence to company values and creed

Job Duties

  • Plan, implement, and monitor day-to-day warehouse operations to meet or exceed shipping, product rotation, sanitation, safety, and timeliness objectives
  • Monitor loading, dispatch, and receiving times ensuring compliance with QIP, HACCP, and DOT regulations
  • Communicate regularly with warehouse associates to enforce productivity, safety, and sanitation policies
  • Complete and maintain accurate computer-based and manual reports, including time records, daily logs, and damage reports
  • Monitor product damage and audit delivery routes to ensure reliable product distribution
  • Plan and schedule manpower to optimize warehouse performance
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reporting
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned
