The Warehouse Supervisor role is based in Sacramento, CA, within this vibrant and growing organization. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, starting from 12:00pm until the work is completed, with flexibility required to work weekends as needed, accommodating the dynamic nature of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate activities involving ordering, picking, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts within a small to mid-sized warehouse or yard.
In this supervisory capacity, the individual will take charge of directing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The role requires training and evaluating warehouse staff to employ effective inventory techniques and complete daily tasks efficiently. Monitoring inventory levels, controlling product loss, conducting physical counts, and reconciling shipments are critical components of this position.
Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and managing the warehouse team to meet labor and budget goals while fulfilling the demands of the facility. Maintaining compliance with safety codes and standards enforced by OSHA and FDA is essential to ensuring a safe and regulatory-compliant environment. The supervisor will also oversee proper maintenance and inspection of equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and fleet trucks.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma preferred
- Three years of leadership experience in warehouse or distribution center operations
- Two years of experience with Microsoft Excel
- Two years analyzing data associated with processes, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations for improvement

Job Duties

- Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks
- Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and control product loss
- Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies
