The available position is based at the Midland, Georgia location at 6175 Technology Parkway. This role is focused on warehouse supervision within the distribution center. It entails overseeing the daily operations in areas such as shipping, receiving, selection, loading, and storage. The supervisor is responsible for delegating tasks, ensuring that the warehouse team meets productivity goals, maintains accuracy, delivers excellent customer service, and adheres to safety standards. The position requires a hands-on approach to training associates, managing resources efficiently, and collaborating with other departments to resolve issues promptly. This is a critical role that underscores SpartanNash’s commitment to operational excellence, associate safety, and customer satisfaction.

In this supervisory capacity, responsibilities extend to maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), enforcing compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and upholding the cleanliness and security of the warehouse environment. The role demands active participation in addressing work-related injuries, conducting investigations when necessary, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operational. Scheduling and coordinating associates based on daily workload demands, facilitating training sessions for process changes, and leading communication meetings are also critical aspects of the job.

The position requires leadership in staffing, training, performance management, career development, and the achievement of department goals. Candidates are expected to have experience in warehouse distribution and supervisory roles, strong communication skills, organizational capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems. The job may require flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs dictate.
