The Warehouse Supervisor role at TreeHouse Foods in Ogden, Utah, is a full-time, on-site position vital to ensuring the smooth daily operations of the warehouse for the plant, which manufactures quality griddle and baked goods products. This role requires overseeing a team of warehouse employees, managing preventative and corrective tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the warehouse team, coordinating with other plants, warehouses, and corporate operations to solve problems and identify improvement opportunities. Active involvement in safety initiatives ensures a healthy workplace where safety is a top priority. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory receiving and shipping, reviewing and approving warehouse invoices, and championing continuous improvement activities such as LEAN methodologies. The Warehouse Supervisor is also tasked with enhancing employee engagement, empowerment, and teamwork while maintaining an orderly, clean, and compliant warehouse space. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • At least one year in a supervisory role is preferred
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to supervisors and team members, including assigning tasks and ensuring targets and schedules are met
  • Act as a liaison among the warehouse, company plants and warehouses, and corporate operations to address problems and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Actively participate in all employee safety-related activities, fostering an environment that values and insists on safe work practices
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to the timely and accurate receiving and shipping of inventory
  • Review warehouse invoices against contracted pricing, approve for payment, and post invoices for payables
  • Champion continuous improvement activities and foster an environment of employee engagement, empowerment, and teamwork, particularly in relation to continuous improvement, LEAN, and other change-driven areas
  • Monitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
