The role of Warehouse Supervisor at SHEIN’s Whitestown, Indiana location is a pivotal position within the operations team. This full-time exempt role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing, motivating, and leading the warehouse team, ensuring that daily tasks including receiving, storing, and shipping products are completed accurately and efficiently. Exceptional communication skills are essential for this role, as the supervisor serves as the primary point of contact between the team members and upper management, ensuring clear and effective communication channels.
The role involves overseeing and optimizing warehouse procedures to increase productivity and space utilization, as well as monitoring and managing inventory levels through coordinated shipments and maintaining rigorous inventory control standards. A critical aspect of the position is to uphold compliance with all safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and address any safety or quality concerns proactively. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, generating reports, and analyzing warehouse operational data to make informed and strategic decisions. Collaborating closely with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate inventory replenishment and stock movement forms a significant part of the responsibilities, ensuring that inventory accuracy is maintained through regular audits and cycle counts.
