Job Description
Allied Personnel Services is a reputable staffing and recruitment agency specializing in providing comprehensive workforce solutions to a wide range of industries. With a commitment to connecting qualified candidates with leading employers, Allied Personnel Services has established itself as a trusted partner for both job seekers and companies seeking top talent. The organization is dedicated to fostering strong relationships, offering personalized service, and ensuring a seamless hiring process for all parties involved. Their expertise spans various sectors including manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and administrative services, making them a versatile and resourceful agency in the staffing industry.
Currently, Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor position, a full-time role requiring coverage from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday, with some additional overtime hours including rotating weekend shifts. This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 annually along with an excellent benefits package, making it a highly attractive career opportunity for experienced warehouse professionals.
The Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations during the second shift. Responsibilities include managing and directing the picking, packing, staging, receiving, put-away, replenishment, and inventory control activities to ensure efficient and accurate handling of materials. The supervisor will monitor both digital systems and physical workflows to quickly identify and resolve any issues that might impact fill rates or cause delays in outbound shipments. This requires a strong understanding of logistics processes as well as proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, with SAP being the preferred platform.
In addition to operational management, the Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for training new staff, implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency, and driving team performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who fosters accountability within their team and collaborates effectively with other departments to ensure alignment on organizational goals.
Candidates for this role must bring 5 to 10 years of supervisory experience in a shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse environment. While an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, extensive relevant experience is essential. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required to support reporting and communication tasks.
This role is perfect for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting and seeks to grow their career by leading and inspiring a high-performing team. Allied Personnel Services is committed to supporting its employees by offering a comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary, and opportunities for professional development. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting a resume to [email protected], marking the first step toward joining a dynamic operation and advancing their career in warehouse management.
