The role of Warehouse Shift Supervisor at Victaulic is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of operational excellence the company is known for. The Warehouse Shift Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse associates responsible for shipping, receiving, cross-dock operations, and yard management.

Responsibilities include supervising shipping schedules, managing trailer flow and dock capacity, coordinating domestic and export freight routing, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA and U.S. Customs. The role requires close collaboration with team members, management, and human resources to foster a productive and safe working environment. The supervisor will also be responsible for training new hires, reinforcing standard operating procedures, and identifying opportunities to enhance productivity through Lean and 5S principles.

Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment is essential to ensure efficient execution of daily operations. Attention to detail is critical, especially in verifying shipment accuracy, managing inventory discrepancies, and maintaining comprehensive records of key performance indicators (KPIs).
