The position of Receiver/Checker at Sacramento Logistics LLC is a vital role that ensures the smooth and accurate receipt of merchandise at the facility. This first shift role starts at 5am Monday through Friday, with a competitive starting pay of $18.42 per hour. As a Receiver/Checker, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy and condition of incoming shipments, ensuring that merchandise is received free from damage and infestation, and confirming that quantities match purchase orders. This position plays a key part in maintaining the warehouse’s inventory accuracy by using warehouse management systems and technology tools like RF guns and voice systems. Duties also include detailed record-keeping, inspection for potential inventory hazards, and supporting the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse to maximize operational efficiency.

In this role, attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount. Employees will be expected to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds and working in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment that ranges from 50 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The work environment fosters teamwork and continuous improvement, valuing individuals who demonstrate reliability, quality work production, and the ability to adhere to productivity standards. This position requires basic computer skills, good math and reading ability, and competence in operating warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
