Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a prominent hospitality and food service company, known for delivering exceptional guest experiences primarily in sports, entertainment, and hospitality venues. Established for over a century as a family-owned company, Delaware North continues to expand its global presence with operations spanning iconic sports arenas, national parks, casinos, and hotels. One of their key venues is Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, where they have managed concessions and retail services since 1996. The arena is famously home to the NHL’s Nashville Predators and serves as a multipurpose venue hosting various sports and entertainment events. Their commitment to excellent service and memorable experiences positions them as a leader in the hospitality industry.

The company deeply values its employees and emphasizes career growth, personal well-being, and professional development. Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages teamwork, diversity, and inclusion. Being an equal opportunity employer, Delaware North fosters a workplace culture where all applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status, are given fair consideration.

This position is a part-time role with an hourly wage of $20.00, ideal for individuals who thrive in active, fast-paced environments and want to be part of the excitement during game days and events at Bridgestone Arena. The Warehouse Porter role is an integral part of the operational backbone, supporting the logistics and inventory management that enable smooth venue operations.

As a Warehouse Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control tasks. The role requires managing operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. You will support smooth merchandise flow by performing transfers between warehouse and concessions, checking products for quality and damage, and ensuring proper storage. Physical activity is substantial in this role, involving lifting heavy items and moving carts, making it suitable for individuals who enjoy active work within a warehouse setting.

Delaware North emphasizes training and development, providing employees with opportunities to enhance their skills and grow within the company. The Warehouse Porter position offers flexible work schedules, including days, evenings, events, holidays, and weekends, catering to individuals looking for adaptable part-time work. Furthermore, the role is backed by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance options, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid vacation and parental leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or certification reimbursement, reflecting Delaware North’s investment in employee satisfaction and long-term success.

Overall, this role presents a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of one of Nashville's most dynamic venues. Employees contribute directly to ensuring guests enjoy seamless experiences at Bridgestone Arena. If you are detail-oriented, physically capable, and eager to join a vibrant team within a reputable global hospitality leader, Delaware North’s Warehouse Porter position is an excellent fit.
