Job Description

Capstone Logistics is a leading North American supply chain solutions partner, renowned for its extensive network of over 500 operating locations, employing 14,500 associates and collaborating with 60,000 carriers. Specializing in a broad range of services including freight management, warehouse support, distribution center operations, last mile delivery, supply chain analytics, and optimization, Capstone is strategically positioned to assist businesses in significantly reducing warehousing and transportation costs. With a commitment to quality and efficiency, Capstone prioritizes delivering superior logistics services while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

At Capstone Logistics, the Warehouse Supervisor role is a critical position within the dynamic environment of a Frito-Lay distribution center located in West Jordan, Utah. This full-time, night shift role offers a competitive salary starting at $60,000 annually plus a quarterly bonus, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding operational excellence. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the overnight unload team consisting of one Team Lead and more than 20 warehouse associates. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced settings and has a proven ability to motivate teams, enforce safety protocols, and uphold performance standards.

The supervisor is integral to ensuring trailers are unloaded safely, accurately, and efficiently. This involves direct involvement on the warehouse floor, coaching team members, troubleshooting operational challenges in real-time, and fostering a positive work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement. Working primarily during the night shift from 8:00 PM until operations are complete, with possible flexible start times, this role demands adaptability and dedication to meeting fluctuating workload demands.

Applicants must be prepared to engage actively with the team, managing labor productivity, conducting pre-shift meetings to set daily objectives, and maintaining clear communication with site leadership. Compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements is strictly maintained to ensure workplace safety and operational integrity. The Warehouse Supervisor also plays a key role in documentation and reporting, providing performance feedback, implementing corrective actions when necessary, and identifying and developing future leaders within the operation.

Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments, coupled with strong communication and leadership abilities. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in demanding conditions is essential. While forklift experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience within food or consumer packaged goods distribution and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) are advantageous. Bilingual skills, particularly English and Spanish, are considered a plus.

Capstone Logistics emphasizes a leadership style that values visibility, respect, clear communication, and accountability. Those who are passionate about team development, operational excellence, and creating a safe and productive workplace will find this role rewarding. Employees benefit from competitive compensation packages, including quarterly and annual bonuses tied to operational performance, plus comprehensive benefits commencing after 30 days, comprising medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, 401K retirement plans, and paid time off. Capstone Logistics is committed to diversity and inclusion, operates as a drug-free workplace, and requires a background check, reinforcing its dedication to a safe and trustworthy working environment.
