Recognized as the largest and most technically focused distributor in this niche, GracoRoberts prides itself on its commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. With a relentless focus on advancing aerospace chemical distribution, the company continues to grow its impact by delivering exceptional service and cutting-edge solutions to its clients worldwide. GracoRoberts operates at the forefront of the industry, merging technical expertise with robust logistics capabilities to support aerospace manufacturers, maintenance, and repair operations.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at our Carson, CA facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader passionate about efficiency, logistics, and innovation within a highly dynamic and fast-paced aerospace environment. The role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year plus bonus incentives, reflecting the significance of the position and the caliber of candidate we seek.
As a Warehouse Operations Manager at GracoRoberts, you will oversee all warehouse functions, ensuring a seamless flow of materials and inventory accuracy essential for supporting aerospace production and supply chain objectives. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for receiving, inventory management, order pulling, packaging, and shipping, making sure that all activities adhere strictly to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Your oversight will help maintain vital compliance with aerospace industry standards such as AS9100/AS9120 and ISO9001, ensuring that quality and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
This role demands a working manager who not only supervises but also actively participates in warehouse operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a safe workplace by enforcing personal protective equipment (PPE) policies and the 6S program, which promotes workplace organization and efficiency. You will be responsible for prompt and effective corrective actions when nonconformances arise within the department, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventative measures to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of shipping logistics, including experience with FedEx, UPS, common carriers, and international shipping protocols involving hazardous materials and air shipments. Familiarity with regulations such as IATA and 49 CFR is highly advantageous. The role also prefers candidates who hold certifications like Hazmat training and a CDL with hazardous materials endorsement, though these are not mandatory.
GracoRoberts is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment. We embrace individuals from all backgrounds and ensure that hiring decisions are based purely on merit, qualifications, and business needs. Join us in shaping the future of aerospace chemical distribution by bringing your expertise and leadership to a company that values innovation and operational excellence.
