The company values inclusion and diversity, ensuring equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. U.S. Venture also emphasizes compliance with workplace safety and security requirements, fostering a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
The Warehouse Operations Manager role at U.S. Venture encompasses a broad scope of responsibilities centered around overseeing warehouse and operational functions at a large facility. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, this leadership position involves managing supervisors, material handlers, drivers, and office staff to ensure effective logistics, inventory control, and transportation processes. Approximately 80 percent of the role is dedicated to management duties, including setting objectives, delegating responsibilities, and maintaining communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency, productivity standards, and customer satisfaction by implementing strategic initiatives, supervising daily activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
This position also requires leadership in maintaining business relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and shippers, coordinating schedules to meet workload demands, and overseeing the upkeep of warehouse facilities and equipment. Budget management—including preparation of capital and operational budgets—and optimizing warehouse layout for seamless product flow are critical aspects of this role. Additionally, the Warehouse Operations Manager is charged with spearheading safety programs, conducting documented safety meetings, investigating incidents, and supporting loss prevention efforts. The candidate must be proactive, highly organized, and skilled in motivating and developing personnel through regular feedback and training to meet productivity targets.
The role demands excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with regional managers, sales teams, and all organizational levels. It requires experience in inventory documentation, financial interpretation, and the use of Microsoft Office applications. Furthermore, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be instrumental in supporting strategic projects and process improvements that align with company goals. The position offers a highly competitive wage with performance bonuses, comprehensive healthcare benefits available from the first day, a 401(k) program with generous employer contributions and matches, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, tuition reimbursement, and various employee discounts. The company encourages a positive working atmosphere and emphasizes team collaboration, safety, and service excellence, making this an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual looking to advance their career in warehouse and operations management within a stable and growth-oriented organization.
