Kings III is a reputable and growing company established in 1989 that specializes in providing critical communication services tailored to enhance safety and security in various environments. With a mission deeply rooted in helping people in distress, Kings III operates primarily within commercial and multi-family real estate sectors by offering solutions such as emergency phones installed in elevators and at pool sides. These systems are designed, sold, installed, serviced, and monitored by the company to ensure prompt and reliable emergency assistance via their Emergency Dispatch Center, which operates 24/7/365. Kings III has garnered numerous accolades including being recognized as a six-time winner of DFW Top Workplaces and a USA Today Top Workplace from 2020 to 2025. The company culture emphasizes integrity, excellence, customer service, ethical practices, individual growth, and continuous improvement, fostering an environment where change agents and builders thrive. With a highly committed workforce, over 12% of employees have been part of the organization for over ten years, reflecting the positive work atmosphere and strong employee retention.
The role of Warehouse Manager - Operations and Systems Optimization at Kings III is pivotal in transforming warehouse operations through strategic leadership and optimization of daily workflows. The ideal candidate is an experienced warehouse manager with a solid background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a passion for process automation and system integration. This role involves defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Dock-to-Stock time, Order Picking Accuracy, Perfect Order Rate, and Inventory Turnover to identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements. You will lead the application of DMAIC principles in Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste, optimize warehouse slotting, and enhance picking and packing efficiency. Managing daily warehouse processes including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping with accuracy rates exceeding 99% is a core responsibility. Additionally, you will oversee inventory control through rigorous audits and cycle counts to minimize shrinkage.
Leadership is crucial in this role as you will mentor warehouse staff, enforce OSHA safety standards, and promote a safety-first culture. Collaborating cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, and service teams ensures warehouse operations align seamlessly with business goals, guaranteeing On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) performance. The Warehouse Manager will spearhead the integration and upgrades of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, data migration, and providing go-live support. Effective communication with organizational leadership and teams is essential to support strategic objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. This in-person role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence in a company committed to saving lives and enhancing safety infrastructure in diverse communities.
