With a strong reputation for customer-centric services and operational excellence, Staples operates a robust supply chain network that ensures timely delivery of essential products. The company focuses heavily on creating inclusive workplaces where diversity is celebrated and employees are empowered to contribute their best. Staples' World Class Supply Chain Team plays a critical role in maintaining the flow of products from distribution centers to customers, leveraging advanced logistics and safety practices. The employment opportunity offered is for the position of Warehouse Associate, work hours being from 9:00 pm to 2:30 am, Sunday through Thursday. The position involves a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, supporting different operational areas such as bulk/material handling equipment operation, warehouse porter duties, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns processing, and shipping. Working in these roles, associates help maintain an efficient, safe, and productive warehouse environment, handling materials up to 100 pounds and using various types of material handling equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks. Safety is a top priority at Staples, and associates are expected to adopt and enforce safety protocols, ensuring their own and others' well-being throughout their shifts.

The Warehouse Associate position is adaptable, allowing associates to be moved between roles as business needs arise. The job emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving among colleagues and with customers. Candidates are expected to be motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to work in environments with seasonal temperature changes, standing and walking for the entire shift duration. The company also encourages and supports associates to achieve certification to operate material handling equipment safely, enhancing career development and workplace safety. Staples offers competitive pay starting at $24.00 per hour, including a $2.00 hourly shift differential. Employees also receive a pair of safety composite work shoes after 60 days, participate in an inclusive culture with business resource groups, and access a variety of benefits such as paid time off, holiday schedules, discounts, 401(k) company matching, and wellness programs. The company is proud of its diverse workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to ensuring all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, or any other protected status. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a physically active job within a supportive and structured environment that fosters growth, safety, and teamwork.
