Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- trade school preferred
- minimum 5 years warehouse experience
- minimum 2 years leadership experience
- forklift operation ability
- computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- knowledge of inventory management and transportation management systems
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma

- knowledge of transportation management systems

- proven experience as order picker or similar warehouse position

Job Duties
- study shipping notices bills of lading and orders to determine shipping priorities and methods
- oversee outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipments
- determine space requirements and position shipments in trucks and boxcars
- determine routing and legal load limits of trucks
- inspect loading operations for compliance
- enter shipment transactions into computer systems
- issue written and oral instructions
- standardize procedures to improve efficiency
- adjust errors and complaints
- maintain safe and clean working environment
- be available for daily and weekly overtime
- cross-train in other warehouse positions
- complete special projects and other duties as assigned
