With operations spanning over 350 offices across the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM delivers comprehensive services including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf management, and mission critical solutions. Serving over 20,000 clients ranging from commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants and distribution centers, to entertainment venues, ABM is committed to enhancing the spaces that matter most.

This role is for a Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner based at 6125 S Hayford Rd in Spokane, Washington. The position offers an hourly pay rate between $18.25 and $18.50, with specific compensation depending on the candidate's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with current market data. The employment shifts are flexible and vary between Sunday through Thursday and Friday through Tuesday, covering morning, afternoon, and night hours, to accommodate operational demands.

As a Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and the highest sanitation standards within warehouses and building facilities. This crucial role involves not only general cleaning duties but also the use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all personnel. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning interior glass such as windows and mirrors, and handling waste disposal including trash and recyclables. You will also be responsible for restocking necessary restroom supplies and moving furniture or equipment to access cleaning areas effectively, either manually or using hand trucks.

The role requires adherence to strict safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by ABM, its clients, and relevant regulatory authorities. Effective communication skills are essential in building and maintaining cooperative relationships with clients, coworkers, and supervisors. Your ability to follow assigned work schedules and report any barriers or maintenance needs is vital to ensuring smooth facility operations. ABM values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package encouraging veterans and individuals entering or returning to the workforce to apply. This job is ideal for someone with limited experience looking to establish themselves within a dynamic team that values reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

ABM’s commitment to diversity and equality is profound. As an equal opportunity employer, applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. ABM provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities, supporting an inclusive workplace. The company also participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify program to confirm employment eligibility. Veterans particularly will find rewarding career opportunities, backed by world-class training programs tailored to skills gained during military service. ABM ensures that every employee is empowered to contribute significantly to better, cleaner, and safer facility environments.
