The role of Warehouse Picker / Delivery Associate at SSP America is a critical position within the logistics and supply chain operations at airport locations. This full-time role (4am-12:30pm) offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.05 and includes substantial benefits such as 2 weeks of paid vacation, referral bonuses, and employer-paid benefits covering 95% of costs. The Warehouse Picker / Delivery Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing all products delivered to the airport venues. They ensure all items are handled in a timely, professional manner to contribute to outstanding guest service levels. This role requires assembling, loading, and unloading products for various delivery points at the airport, maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage areas and vehicles, and performing vehicle safety inspections before dispatch. The associate must also adhere to security protocols, including verifying airport badges and managing delivery paperwork. Attention to detail and following all health and safety regulations, both on public roads and airport property, are integral to successfully fulfilling this position.

Additionally, the Warehouse Picker / Delivery Associate is tasked with equipment handling duties, such as returning dirty equipment to the commissary and delivering used equipment appropriately. The role demands punctuality, strong communication with management, and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned. Physical fitness is essential given the necessity to lift up to 50 pounds, manage prolonged standing, bending, and other warehouse-related physical tasks. Job Duties

  • Greet guests/vendors in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the back door/receiving area and all storage areas and shelves
  • Assemble and load onto vehicle 100 percent of all items requisitioned for delivery to specified location
  • Conduct pre-trip inspection of vehicle prior to leaving dock
  • Notify supervisor of any vehicle damage or safety issues
  • Follow all security guidelines for back door receiving, including checking of airport badges and all paperwork for deliveries
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations on public roads and on airport property
  • Must follow all property guidelines and procedures for delivery of product to the airport and/or individual units
  • After delivery load dirty equipment and bring back to commissary
  • Unload and deliver used equipment to appropriate areas
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists required
  • Inform the manager immediately of product shortages
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
  • Maintain clean vehicles and follow no smoking regulations in vehicles
  • Return all items used during your shift to the proper place, clean and organize all work and storage areas including vehicle, empty and re-line all trash containers
  • Meet with manager upon arrival to discuss shift set-up, and check out with manager before leaving to ensure duties are completed
  • Other duties as assigned
