The Warehouse Associate role at Staples is an integral part of the supply chain team. This position involves working in various warehouse operations including bulk handling and material handling equipment operation, replenishment, receiving, putaway, returns, and shipping. Associates in this role may be trained and certified to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks, handling products weighing up to 100 pounds. Responsibilities encompass moving products within the warehouse safely, organizing shipments, unloading trucks, and maintaining clean and safe work areas. The role requires flexibility as associates may be rotated across different tasks to meet business needs. Safety is a top priority, with strict adherence to procedures to ensure the well-being of employees and maintain an accident-free environment. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $22.30 per hour, including a $1.00 hourly shift differential for the 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm Monday to Friday shift.
