Cintas Corporation is a reputable and leading company that supports over one million businesses across various industries by providing essential products and services aimed at maintaining clean, safe, and professional facilities. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Cintas is well-established as a publicly traded Fortune 500 company featuring prominently on stock exchanges like Nasdaq. The company is known for its extensive product offerings including uniforms, mats, mops, towels, restroom supplies, workplace water services, first aid and safety products, and much more. Its mission revolves around helping customers be fully prepared and confident as they start their workday by ensuring their facilities and employees represent the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Cintas continues to grow and innovate within the industry by implementing comprehensive solutions that address facility needs spanning safety, hygiene, and maintenance. The corporation prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment, emphasizing equal employment opportunities irrespective of race, gender, or other protected characteristics. With a strong commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency, Cintas is dedicated to supporting its workforce in delivering superior customer experiences consistently.
In this capacity, Cintas is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate - Wastewater Technician for its North Las Vegas, NV location. This is a full-time, regular position aligned with the 2nd shift schedule, ideal for candidates who thrive in a production hourly work environment, especially in the rental organization sector. The selected candidate will play an integral role in the operation and maintenance of the facility's wastewater system, ensuring compliance with all applicable local and national pollution regulations.
The Wastewater Technician’s duties center on managing the wastewater system effectively, including mixing the precise chemical formulations necessary for washing uniforms and ancillary products such as floor mats, shop towels, and dust mops. The role demands physical stamina as it requires standing for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift, alongside frequent lifting, bending, stretching, and twisting. Accuracy and productivity in daily operational tasks are critical aspects of the role since inventory control and accountability depend greatly on consistent, meticulous work.
Additionally, this position encompasses a variety of other responsibilities including maintaining high standards of housekeeping, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, and fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes safety and compliance. Knowledge of wastewater regulations as well as industry best practices will aid in excelling at these duties. Certification or licensing relevant to wastewater management, particularly that which is state-specific, is preferred and can help the candidate stand out.
This position offers a valuable opportunity for professionals eager to advance their technical skills in wastewater management within a dynamic and supportive company. Cintas is committed to providing employees with a stable work environment that encourages personal development and growth. The company’s emphasis on equal employment opportunity and diversity ensures an inclusive workplace where all workers can contribute meaningfully to company success and customer satisfaction.
