Job Description

JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Warehouse Associate I for the 1st shift in Ontario, CA for our client, Client Incorporated. Client Incorporated is a globally recognized manufacturer specializing in electrical, lighting, and power solutions. Founded in 1888, Client Incorporated has a rich history rooted in innovation and quality manufacturing, with over 75 trusted brands used worldwide. The company's founder, Harvey Client, contributed several patents that revolutionized electrical control methods, including the first practical pull chain socket control still in use today. As a market leader, Client Incorporated offers an extensive product line with over half a million items, maintaining a steadfast commitment to innovation, quality, and community empowerment.

The Warehouse Associate I role is vital to the operational success of Client Incorporated's distribution center in Ontario, CA. This full-time position works Monday through Friday on the first shift, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 3:30 PM, offering weekly pay at $20.00 per hour alongside a comprehensive benefits package. The warehouse associate is tasked with a broad range of duties that contribute to the smooth functioning of the distribution center, including order picking, product packing, loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, and maintaining overall housekeeping standards within the facility. This flexibility in duties ensures candidates will engage in dynamic daily tasks that support multiple areas of warehouse operations.

Skillful use of material-handling equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts is essential. The associate must be able to efficiently and accurately put away or pick materials, stage shipments, prepare required documentation for inbound and outbound goods, and comply with all relevant company policies and safety procedures. Proficiency in reading routing sheets and the ability to use various warehouse tools effectively are also critical to success in this role. Additionally, candidates must be willing to actively participate in team and safety meetings, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.

Working knowledge of warehouse management software like Blue Yonder is preferred but not required, and current certifications on warehouse equipment can be advantageous. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull loads ranging from 10 to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and twisting. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate sudden operational changes and overtime when necessary.

Joining Client Incorporated as a Warehouse Associate I presents a unique opportunity to be part of an esteemed company with a long-standing legacy while contributing to a functional and innovative supply chain. With the company’s commitment to excellence and workforce empowerment, employees can anticipate a rewarding work environment that values dedication, teamwork, and personal growth.
