The Warehouse Associate position within SSP America's Food & Beverage sector offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals to contribute directly to the efficiency and success of airport-based product delivery operations. This role is compensated at $21.25 per hour and is designed for someone detail-oriented and safety-conscious, committed to maintaining high standards in product handling and logistics. The Associate plays a crucial role in assembling, loading, and unloading products designated for delivery to airport locations, ensuring every item is handled professionally and delivered on time to optimize guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include welcoming guests and vendors warmly, managing storage areas for safety and organization, conducting thorough vehicle inspections before trips, and strictly following security protocols and traffic regulations applicable both on public roads and airport premises. Additionally, Associates take care of cleaning duties, equipment maintenance, and accurate record-keeping throughout opening, ongoing, and closing checklists. Communication with supervisors is an integral part of the role to report issues like product shortages and confirm task completion. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy items regularly
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
  • Ability to operate loading equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests and vendors with a warm and friendly demeanor when applicable
  • Ensure the back door and receiving area, as well as all storage spaces, are properly organized and maintained for safety and efficiency
  • Accurately assemble and load all items required for delivery to designated locations
  • Conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of vehicles, promptly reporting any damage or safety concerns to your supervisor
  • Adhere to security protocols for back door receiving, including badge checks and paperwork verification for all deliveries
  • Follow traffic laws and safety regulations both on public roadways and airport property
  • Comply with company guidelines and procedures for product deliveries to the airport and individual units
