The Driver Check-In Coordinator position at Core-Mark plays a vital role within the company’s supply chain operations, particularly in the food and food service delivery segment. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth logistics and supply chain efficiency by managing the process for delivery drivers returning from their routes. The Coordinator is responsible for accurately checking in drivers, processing returned goods, and managing records consistent with company and Department of Transportation requirements. This position supports maintaining the integrity and accuracy of inventory systems by reconciling receipts, returned items, and damaged goods, while also coordinating vehicle maintenance and addressing any delivery challenges with relevant personnel. The Driver Check-In Coordinator acts as a critical point of communication, liaising with drivers, vendors, department managers, and inventory personnel to address quality concerns and resolve operational issues.

This role is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, offering competitive hourly pay at $16.50. Job Requirements

  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • 6+ months in a warehouse environment
  • Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills

Job Duties

  • Check-in drivers upon returning from deliveries
  • Receives driver’s receipts of the day’s customer deliveries, reconcile cash and checks and place in the safe
  • Examines and verifies all returned items to be re-entered into inventory
  • Files Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports
  • Reconciles damaged goods and returned items and re-enter items into the appropriate categories within the inventory system, as required
  • Communicates with inventory personnel over quality related concerns
  • Communicates with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges
  • Assists in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
