Job Description

The hiring organization is a dynamic and well-established distribution center committed to providing exceptional delivery and warehouse services within its sales territory. Operating efficiently, this distribution center plays a crucial role in the supply chain by ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials, products, and equipment to customers while maintaining robust inventory management through its state-of-the-art warehouse operations. As a leader in logistics and distribution, the center promotes safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction at every step, fostering a professional environment where team members can thrive and contribute significantly to daily operations.

This company is currently seeking a motivated and responsible Warehouse Associate and Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join its dedicated team on a full-time basis. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $19 and $20, paid bi-weekly, reflecting the importance of this combined position in supporting both warehouse and delivery functions. The job requires candidates to be at least 21 years old to adhere to safety and legal driving standards. This position is ideally suited for individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in driving, warehouse operations, and sit-down forklift usage, with a preference for candidates who have additional experience in box truck driving, RF scanner operation, and materials handling.

As a Warehouse Associate and Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making daily deliveries to customers within the sales territory, ensuring that materials, products, and equipment reach their destinations safely and punctually. Your driving responsibilities mandate that you maintain a clean 7-year driving record, a valid driver’s license without any DWI or DUI, and the ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screenings. Safety and courtesy behind the wheel are critical, as is your capacity to promptly report any mechanical issues to supervisors.

Simultaneously, your warehouse duties will involve the proficient use of RF scanning systems to manage inventory, including stocking and pulling materials in preparation for shipment. You will be operating various work devices such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts to maneuver materials efficiently within the warehouse setting. An important aspect of your warehouse role will include examining pallet loads and package contents to verify accuracy against manifests, invoices, or orders, thereby maintaining stringent quality and inventory control standards.

The position also demands excellent communication skills to liaise with supervisors and sales representatives to quickly resolve any issues related to damages, shortages, or discrepancies. You will contribute to maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization by performing general housekeeping duties in the warehouse environment. Your physical endurance must support walking and standing for more than 80% of the workday and lifting items up to 50 pounds, reflecting the job’s active nature.

Working schedules follow an 8-hour day shift routine from Monday to Friday, offering candidates a reliable and consistent workweek. The role is location-specific, requiring in-person attendance at one designated facility, with English language proficiency preferred. Additionally, you will be expected to have a good understanding of basic math and reading skills, active listening abilities, and familiarity with reading maps and following directions to customer sites, all of which facilitate the smooth execution of daily tasks and customer interactions.

This full-time position presents a vital opportunity for those who have a commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality service in both driving and warehouse operations. It is a chance to develop skills in a supportive environment with clear pathways for professional growth, backed by comprehensive employee benefits and a focus on work-life balance.
