Located in Rochester, NY, the Wegmans warehouse at 3131 Winton Road is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for the full-time warehouse employee position. This role is central to the seamless operation of the supply chain as it involves accurately selecting cases, building pallets, and preparing goods for store delivery. The warehouse environment at Wegmans is highly dynamic and requires employees to work safely in varying temperature conditions, from as low as -20°F in the frozen goods section to 105°F in grocery areas. Employees will use specialized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and Vocollect technology to handle the products. The role involves physical activities, including lifting weights up to and exceeding 50 pounds occasionally, building and stacking pallets to ensure product safety, and effective communication with management and peers.
