The role of the Warehouse Associate at Bimbo Bakeries USA is a vital position within this dynamic environment. This full-time role includes a competitive starting pay of $21.63 per hour and a work schedule of Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. This schedule supports a balanced lifestyle while meeting the operational needs of the company. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trailers, verifying the accuracy of route loads and trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard in an orderly and safe condition. This role requires careful product handling, including counting and quality checks, keeping precise records, and reporting any discrepancies in inventory. The associate will actively participate in cycle counts, contributing to inventory accuracy and operational excellence. Additionally, the role involves operating various types of material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and troubleshooting packing and labeling machines, ensuring the continuous flow of the shipping process without delays.

Ideal candidates for this role will be at least 18 years of age and bring 1-3 years of preferred experience in shipping or warehouse operations. Physical fitness is essential, as the position requires lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, stacking and unstacking products, and the ability to stand or stoop for extended periods. The work environment can be warm, and comfort with these conditions is important. Effective communication skills in English are necessary to collaborate with team members and report issues accurately. Since the role operates on a nonstandard schedule, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
