Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience
  • 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the scheduled work shift
  • Knowledge of inventory and cycle counts
  • Knowledge of proper lifting techniques, health and safety practices and inventory methods
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Adherence to safety standards and practices at all times
  • Forklift certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Participate in warehouse operations involving receiving, processing, pulling orders, loading trucks, and stocking inventory
  • Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures
  • Maintain a variety of records, orders, bill of ladings, proof of deliveries (PODs), will calls, files, reports and records of stock
  • Perform inventory management and cycle counts
  • Keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis
  • Assist counter sales associates and store manager when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Foster a safe working environment with goals of zero lost time and zero recordable incidents
  • Participate in safety training
