Job Requirements

  • After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check
  • must be able to work varying shifts including outdoor work
  • must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • must have ability to operate a forklift
  • must be available to work 40 to 50 hours per week
  • high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • building supply warehouse experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training
  • building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred
  • ability to operate a forklift
  • ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • ability to work 40 to 50 hours per week
  • knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs
  • strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Provide service to customers entering the warehouse
  • receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials
  • allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse at all times
  • maintain packing specifications and make suitable skids/pallets
  • operate forklift and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed
  • attend and participate in all required company training programs
  • perform minor building maintenance when necessary
  • participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
  • maintain the appearance of the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner
  • conform to all company policies and procedures and OSHA standards
  • maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
  • maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size
  • verify truck loads
  • support company values of safety, customer focus, teamwork, integrity, and being a company of choice
  • other duties may be assigned
