Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience
must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent experience
basic computer skills
good communication skills
ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus
experience driving trucks for delivery preferred

Job Duties

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
pull inventory for shipments
help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery
record selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment
follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
work in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations
load finished product onto truck
navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders
follow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specifics
interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
counter sales to general contractors
use technology to help manage the logistics process
perform other relative duties as assigned
