Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience
- must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
- basic computer skills
- good communication skills
- ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
- ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
- knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware is a plus
- experience driving trucks for delivery preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- pull inventory for shipments
- help with ensuring correct material is pulled and loaded on our truck for delivery
- record selected merchandise in accordance with standard operating procedures
- ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed
- keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- operate and preventively maintain warehouse equipment
- follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- work in accordance with all warehouse safety regulations
- load finished product onto truck
- navigate equipment through a warehouse to collect customer orders
- follow all applicable safety regulations and processes as associated with driving, vehicle check, material handling and customer site specifics
- interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
- counter sales to general contractors
- use technology to help manage the logistics process
- perform other relative duties as assigned
