With a strong presence in the event industry, Encore fosters a supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, promotes safety, and encourages professional growth among its employees. The company provides various career opportunities that align with both individual capabilities and the evolving demands of event technology and operations.
The position of Warehouse and Driver Technician (Class C Non-CDL) at Encore is essential for supporting warehouse operations and logistics projects with a focus on shipping and receiving, quality control, and inventory management. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual capable of managing inbound and outbound shipments, operating warehouse equipment, and safely driving company vehicles for delivery and transportation tasks within regulations. Reporting to the Supervisor or Manager of Warehouse Operations, the role is integral in maintaining operational efficiency and service standards.
Salary for this hourly position ranges from $21.58 to $26.43, which is commensurate with experience, skills, and location factors. Candidates can also anticipate potential overtime, bonuses, or incentives as part of their compensation package. The Warehouse and Driver Technician is responsible for receiving, labeling, packing, and shipping products accurately while maintaining high-quality control standards. Skilled operation of industrial forklifts and company vehicles with a valid CDL Class C license is required, along with performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, participating in safety initiatives, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment that demands multitasking and strong communication skills with team members, site leadership, and customers. The Warehouse and Driver Technician must be proficient in basic computer skills, preferably with experience using RF-based Warehouse Management Systems and knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging devices.
The working environment can vary between warehouse conditions that expose employees to outdoor elements such as dirt and noise, as well as event venues where attention to appearance and safety is critical. The role may require irregular hours, on-call duties, and travel, emphasizing flexibility and commitment to operational needs. Overall, this position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for individuals who thrive in logistics, warehouse operations, and transportation, contributing to delivering world-class service at Encore.
