We are currently seeking a Server to join the team at Sooner Station in Norman, Oklahoma. The Server will play a crucial role in delivering a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests, upholding the high standards of our community. This position involves providing friendly, attentive, and timely meal service, maintaining an orderly and clean dining environment, and supporting daily dining operations. Both full-time and part-time shifts may be available, and compensation is based on experience. This role requires excellent hospitality skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with seniors. The Server helps ensure that mealtimes are enjoyable and engaging, reflecting the quality and values of Discovery Management Group. Serving as a key liaison during meal service, the Server contributes to the overall comfort and satisfaction of residents, supporting a culture that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of each individual. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred
- Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25-50 lbs)
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals

Job Duties
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections
- Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists
