Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including breakfast, lunch, or dinner shifts
- Ability to work part time
- Pass a drug screening including for marijuana
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed for service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Job Qualifications
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic point of sales and computer software experience
- Ability to carry out instructions with basic oversight and guidance
- Previous experience in food service is beneficial but not required
- Strong customer service mindset
- Team player who fosters and promotes a positive working culture
- Passion for food, senior care, and working in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Communicate in a caring and cheerful manner with residents, family members, and other staff
- Work effectively within a team, receiving and offering feedback as needed
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas to create a welcoming environment
- Assist in setting up dining areas for meals
- Provide prompt and attentive service to residents
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Report any resident concerns or needs to management
