The Wexford is one of Generations’ senior living communities where the role of Waitstaff is pivotal to delivering an exceptional dining experience to residents and guests. The Waitstaff at The Wexford are entrusted with ensuring the Dining Room is a welcoming and comfortable place by maintaining high cleanliness standards and providing prompt, courteous meal service. This role also requires adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing community operations, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for all. Waitstaff are expected to embody Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values consistently in their daily work and interactions, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere that enriches the lives of senior residents.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with shifts on Sundays, Saturdays, and Tuesdays, with preferred availability on holidays. The position does not require prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. The Wexford provides on-the-job training to help new team members develop necessary skills, including food handling and safety procedures. Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is desired
  • No previous experience is required
  • Current Food Handler's Permit
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
