The Club House Wait Staff position plays a vital role in enhancing the dining experiences of Members by expertly serving meals across various settings including casual, formal, bar, and private dining rooms. This role demands attention to detail, proficiency in fine dining service techniques, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure seamless meal service. Staff members are expected to provide high-quality food and beverage service tailored to Member preferences, manage food presentation skillfully, and maintain well-stocked dining and kitchen areas to support efficient operations.
In addition to the core responsibilities of serving meals and managing orders accurately using computer systems, wait staff are integral in fostering warm, compassionate interactions with Members. They are encouraged to demonstrate empathy and engage proactively, anticipating needs and building meaningful connections to promote a culture of care that meets physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs alike. Communication is a cornerstone of this role, ensuring clarity, promptness, and respect in every exchange with residents and their families.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a food service role preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry moderate weight
- availability to work full-time or part-time hours including evenings and weekends
- basic computer skills
- strong attention to detail and customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to demonstrate fine dining service techniques

Job Duties
- Provides food and beverage items as required
- serves meals in the dining rooms in compliance with Member preferences and orders
- monitors reception of meals and offers substitute food items for those not deemed satisfactory by members
- stocks items in kitchen, dining rooms, wait stations, kitchen wait station, and break room as necessary
- demonstrates the skills and techniques of fine dining service
- runs food independently
- is able to serve entire 3-4 table section independently with some assistance needed
- is able to use the computer to enter orders, split checks, and charge members correctly
