The Server role at Guest Services is critical to delivering a superior dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking and serving food and drink orders in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner within your assigned section of the dining room. Serving is more than just delivering food; it encompasses engaging with guests by greeting them warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making thoughtful recommendations. The Server ensures proper billing procedures and manages transactions accurately, which demands strong attention to detail and confidence with mathematical tasks. The position requires proactive communication with the kitchen team and diligent management of cleanliness and presentation in the assigned area. Servers are also tasked with maintaining a pleasant dining atmosphere by periodically checking in with guests to attend to their needs and resolve any issues promptly.
This role calls for someone who values customer service, has excellent sanitation habits, and can recognize and communicate problems effectively. The physical demands are significant, including standing throughout the whole shift, lifting and carrying heavy items regularly, and working in environments with temperature extremes like freezers and grills. Comfort with operating POS systems, touch-screen computers, and credit card machines is essential. Servers contribute vitally to the team’s efficiency and guest satisfaction, playing an indispensable part in Guest Services’ continued reputation for best-in-class service. The work environment is fast-paced and requires constant verbal communication among staff. The schedule and conditions are demanding but rewarding for those passionate about hospitality and guest service.
The Server position offers an hourly wage of 10.98 USD, providing an accessible entry point into the hospitality industry or an opportunity to further develop your career in a respected company renowned for its service quality and commitment to an inclusive workplace environment. If you have a passion for foodservice, excellent interpersonal skills, and the stamina to thrive in a dynamic work setting, Guest Services invites you to apply and join their team dedicated to hospitality excellence.
