The current opening at Unidine is for a Waiter/Waitress position located at the Holy Cross Village in Notre Dame, Indiana. Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate food and drink combinations
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and accommodate special requests
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- Maintain high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- Address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor
- Ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods and keep area clean
- Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Work with staff from other departments during special events
- Perform other duties as assigned
