Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- takes food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- delivers food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follows up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advises guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodates reasonable requests and notes guest preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- communicates directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special request accommodation
- exhibits exceptional communication skills and works well with guests and team members
- collects tickets and follows proper cash-handling procedures
- promotes a clean, safe, and neat environment in the dining room
- maintains sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical guest information
- promptly addresses complaints or issues and relays information to supervisors
- ensures dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- operates various equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- collaborates with other department staff during special events and functions
- performs other duties as assigned
