The current opening is for a part-time Waiter/Waitress position at Campus Commons Senior Living located at 22 Cadillac Drive, Sacramento, CA 95825. This role requires a flexible schedule, with hours and days that may vary, including mandatory weekend shifts. Job Requirements
- Prior food service experience preferred
- ability to work a part-time schedule including weekends
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality of personal or medical information

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior food service experience preferred but not required

- basic cash-handling skills

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- advise guests on menu items, accommodating specialized diets and allergen needs
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and special requests accommodated
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- maintain a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- promptly address guest complaints and relay information to supervisor
- set up and clean the dining room before and after service
- operate dining room equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- assist with job duties during special events and functions
- perform other assigned duties as needed
