Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two years of prior server experience preferred
- willingness to train
- ability to work part-time schedule which includes Fridays through Sundays
- ability to work brunch, lunch, and dinner shifts
- reliable transportation or means to reach the work location
- ability to maintain flexible and patient communication with guests and staff
- ability to perform physical tasks related to the restaurant server position

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests on food and drink combinations, and accommodate special dietary needs
- communicate directly with back-of-house staff to ensure correct delivery and accommodation of special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment
- maintain sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address guest complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining room before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
