Currently, Unidine is hiring for a part-time Waiter/Waitress position at the Seven Hills Senior Living located at 733 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, MN. This role offers a part-time schedule primarily covering Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday with varying hours, details of which are discussed during the interview process. - basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients
- advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested
- accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and build rapport with guests and staff
- remain flexible and patient when communicating
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up before and after service periods
- keep dining area clean and sanitary
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
