Job Requirements
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- able to work part-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- capable of handling cash and following cash-handling procedures
- maintain confidentiality of guest information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry preferred
- knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with menu items, ingredients, and dietary restrictions
- positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests appropriately
- accommodate reasonable requests and note guest preferences
- demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens as needed
- communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure orders and special requests are accommodated
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain good interpersonal relationships
- remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
- promptly address complaints or issues and report to supervisor
- ensure dining room is properly set up and cleaned following sanitation standards
- operate restaurant equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells and coffee machines
- collaborate with staff from other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
