Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate full understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on food and drink combinations
- accommodate reasonable requests and dietary needs including allergens
- communicate effectively with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests accommodation
- exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive interactions with guests and team members
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
- promptly address complaints or issues and relay information to supervisors
- set up the dining room properly before service periods and ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards
- operate various equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, beverage machines, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other department staff during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
