This position is for a part-time Waiter/Waitress at Revel Las Vegas located at 4940 South Conquistador Street, Las Vegas, NV. The role offers a fixed pay rate of $15.50 per hour with a part-time schedule primarily during evening hours, and specific hours may vary depending on business needs. As a Waiter/Waitress with Unidine at Revel Las Vegas, you will be at the forefront of creating memorable dining experiences. Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Take food and beverage orders efficiently following established steps of service
- Deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests accordingly
- Accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences including specialized diets and allergens
- Communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders and special requests
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and maintain positive relationships with guests and team members
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment and ensure proper dining room setup and sanitation
- Operate equipment including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- Address guest complaints promptly and escalate to supervisors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
